Will it hurt?
Commodity magnetic studs ache because bare metal concentrates the pressure onto one spot, and an hour of that is enough. The face that meets your ear here is a medical-grade silicone pad rather than bare steel. We won’t tell you what it feels like on your ear, because nobody can do that for you: it comes off in a second if the answer is no.
Will it fall off?
If you’ve lost one before, it was usually a magnet glued into a plated disc that let go. Both halves here are machined 316L stainless. We still don’t publish a hold rating and we won’t tell you it can’t come off: it’s a magnet, and coming off is half the product.
Will it look fake?
